Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? We’ve got answers.

Is Landlord Housing Hub a law firm?

No. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. Landlord Housing Hub is a tool that helps you stay compliant by generating required legal documents and tracking rental activity.

Are the notices legally valid in California?

Yes — all notices are formatted to comply with California law and are tailored for specific cities like Oakland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. We regularly update them as laws change.

What documents can I generate?

* 3-Day Notice to Pay Rent or Quit
* 30/60-Day Termination Notices
* Rent Increase Notices
* Compliance Cover Sheets (Oakland RAP)
* More coming soon: Owner Move-In, Lease Violation Notices

Do I need to subscribe?

No — you can use our tools on a pay-per-use basis. However, subscribing gives you unlimited access to all notices, ledger tools, and compliance checklists for a flat monthly or annual fee.

Can I download or print the documents?

Yes. All notices and tools generate downloadable, printable PDFs. You can also email them to yourself or your team.

What if my tenant doesn’t respond to the notice?

We recommend consulting an attorney or legal service provider for next steps. We also offer referral partners and tools for post-notice follow-up (coming soon).

What makes this better than filling out forms manually?

Speed, accuracy, and protection. Our forms auto-format key legal language, calculate timelines, include required cover sheets, and help avoid common mistakes that get landlords in trouble.

Do you offer multi-user or team access?

That feature is in development. Contact us if you need enterprise or fiduciary team access.

Who is this platform built for?

* Landlords with 2–200+ units
* Property managers
* Fiduciaries handling estates
